Speaker bio

As a retired graphic arts instructor, Dave Robison claims he’s not really an “orchid person” and that his main hobby is letterpress printing, but he actually spends most of his time helping his wife take care of cymbidiums and a few thousand other orchids at their Orchid Design business. After more than two decades of dividing and repotting hundreds and hundreds of cyms, Dave thinks he may have figured out how to do it, and is happy to share tips, techniques, and ideas on dividing, potting media, repotting, and how to get cymbidium “back bulbs” to grow new plants.
